The Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley, The Palmeraie Opening Party

As guests pulled into the red-carpet styled roundabout, they were greeted by hostesses at the Prada check-in and handed the iconic orange glass of Veuve from the Veuve floral wall and mannequins dressed in florals showcased the Palmeraie logo throughout the space. The event, celebrating the opening of the Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley’s newest offering, The Palmeraie, was held at the Volanti Hangar Event space at the Scottsdale Airpark. Over 1,000 attendees mingled throughout various event suites from the runway to the rooftop lounge, Club 360. The theme of luxury living could be seen in every detail, and nothing was overlooked. The full-service team with onsite production warehouse and kitchen allowed Volanti Hangar Events to delight guests with a variety of offerings from hand-pressed tortillas being made into braised beef tacos alongside the Don Julio tasting suite to enjoying passed hors d'oeuvres of lobster medallions and brie tartlets while lounging in the Kettle One Botanical tent. Lamborghinis were parked on the runway framing a Bombardier jet against the stunning backdrop of the McDowell Mountains.

Residents from Scottsdale and neighboring Paradise Valley have been eagerly anticipating the opening of the Palmeraie since 2017 and this opening event was the perfect preview and setting. The Scottsdale Airport, a joint venture between the cities of Scottsdale and Phoenix, was renovated in 2017 and Volanti Hangar Events is the preferred event company for the site. The over 30,000 square foot venue was able to set up unique areas that guests could move through throughout the evening, ensuring there was never a dull moment. The team at Prada, one of the Palmeraie’s flagship offerings, brought in custom-made couches and chinchilla jackets for guests to view as hint as to what they would be offering at their store. Two live bands performed, and chefs were on hand nearby hand-rolling sushi which sat perched on a custom ice sculpture ready for guests to enjoy. Kettle One girls on bikes delivered drinks to guests throughout the space.

Moving through the different areas of the hangar and event space, each with unique themes, allowed guests to experience all that Volanti Hangar Events team can offer. With over 15 years of event planning experience at the Scottsdale Airport it is not surprising that Volanti was asked to plan a one-of-a-kind event such as this. The Volanti team is excited celebrate the opening of The Palmeraie at the Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley and wishes them success on this newest offering.
